River is a four-year-old female poodle looking for a home of her own

 

She’s 21 pounds, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and has a clean bill of health. Proper structure, beautiful long floofy legs, and an easy-to-groom coat. She’s a little too big to fly and isn’t comfortable in a carrier, but she does great on long car rides and is fine at the vet. River is well trained, human-focused, and loves her people. Knows lots of commands and never has accidents in the house. 

 

She likes kids, enjoys family time, and would happily play with you and snuggle you all day. Walks, hikes, car rides, and adventures are all a yes. Loud noises don’t bother her. She’ll chase the cats for fun and never hurts them.

 

Other dogs are fine — she gets along with them — but she isn’t especially interested in pack life. She has so much love to give and would do best with family life rather than life in a group of dogs. Being alone isn’t her favorite. She doesn’t love her crate, but she’ll tolerate it if she’s close to you.
